With an extensive portfolio in analysis and design, we offer the following professional design engineering services to our clients: 

MFD has specialised in the analysis and design of towers and guyed masts in a variety of materials. Structures are analysed using a quasi-static approach with the facility to include extra members, such as antenna cross arms. Various general and finite element analysis programs are held in-house for analysis of unusual structures. The towers are designed to BS8100 using MS Tower and Robot Millennium FE packages.

Where we hold existing models, we also carry out structural capacity checks to ensure satisfactory compliance with Home Office guidelines and the determination of satisfactory utilisation factors for the tower capacity.   Where additional capacity is required MFD design strengthening schemes.
